Amanda Knapp is the founder and CEO of Sitting Made Simple. Amanda started her career as a nanny right out of high school in 1999. Over time, as her nanny career evolved and changed and she moved, she lived in Columbus, Ohio and realized that there was a huge need for childcare. That is where Sitting Made Simple all started. She worked from her home basement, scheduled everything on pen and paper and took appointments over the phone. In 2011, just 3 years into the business the demand for the services were rapidly increasing and Amanda made the decision to go full time with Sitting Made Simple. Sitting Made Simple connects local families with Sitting Made Simple babysitters.
