HOUR 1: Rooney - Better than the mean, Calls, Tyler Kennedy

Jim Rooney, the brother of Art Rooney II, was on the Ross Tucker Podcast telling fans they should appreciate where the Steelers have been for the last 25 years – above average. The guys dug deep into this one. Someone from inside the family, that probably shares Art’s views, saying that being “above the mean” is the standard that we all hear about. Are fans fed up with how Art Rooney II is running things? Former Penguin Tyler Kennedy joined the show. The Penguins are in California and TK said he guarantees that those guys are either at the beach or at the pool. Tyler talked about how things can be in a locker room if there’s a sense that guys could be dealt at the trade deadline. TK told us a story about when he got traded out of San Jose thinking he was safe and sound. He said that can sometimes lead to very awkward conversations between the player and front office.
