The Bible defines Judaizing as the act of compelling others to live as do the Jews. The Apostle Paul, in his epistle to the Galatians, confronted this very error which had not only infiltrated the churches he established, but had its roots in the church at Jerusalem under the leadership of James, the Lord’s brother. Judaizing seeks to bring believers back under the bondage of the Law, stripping Christianity of Christ and exalting Israel after the flesh in His place.
