Julie, who's family hail from Malaysia, talks about her experiences of growing up in Glasgow, her mothers stories from being a health worker in Glasgow during the Ice Cream Wars and how the street food stalls in Malaysia have influenced her cooking. We discuss Julie's restaurant Julie's Kopitiam in Glasgow's Southside. Julie details how lockdown has affected the hospitality industry & the importance of a good work-life balance.
