U.S. Congressman Patrick McHenry, representing North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District, has been officially named the new chairman of the U.S. Senate Finance Committee, after serving on the committee since first elected in 2005. McHenry has been (a crypto educated) pro-crypto voice thus far and will replace former Chair Maxine Waters. Waters recently informed a group of Democrats that she doesn’t plan to subpoena former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
