Streets of Fire (1984)

This week, Tom blind-buys his way into Walter Hill's Streets of Fire (1984), a "rock n' roll fable" that mashes up 1950's tough guy attitudes with 1980's music and neon streets. Soldier boy Tom Cody (Michael Pare) is recruited to rescue his girlfriend, rock singer Ellen Aim (superfoxy Diane Lane) when she is abducted by a bunch of greaser bikers led by Willem Dafoe.
