All sides of Australian politics have welcomed the prospect of a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas - but the Prime Minsiter has declined to say if Australia will contribute to any reconstruction efforts in Gaza. Shadow Foreign Minister Simon Birmingham says Hamas has "played a spoiler role" in negotiations for too long" - and says the Coalition would hope to see the deal "honoured in all aspects."
