Katy, a descendant of a Polish Auschwitz survivor, talks emotively about today's anniversary of the little known deportation of 2 million Poles to Siberia in 1940.

Katy Carr is a singer, performer, songwriter and at the end of the programme we hear her song 'Red Red Rose'.
