The move away from large cap technology companies towards small cap and more cyclical names remains the big theme in the markets and led to a broad sell-off in US equities yesterday. Meanwhile in Europe, the European Central Bank decided to leave its main refinancing rate unchanged at 4.25% at its meeting yesterday. Across Asia, equities have largely struggled today, with the Hang Seng Index leading regional declines.
