REAlloys, set to merge with Blackboxstocks, secures a significant deal with the Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) to control a large portion of North Americas upcoming heavy rare earth production. This partnership brings commercial amounts of dysprosium, terbium, and high-purity neodymium and praseodymium to the region, addressing a major bottleneck in Western magnet manufacturing. The SRC facility is North Americas first fully integrated rare-earth processing complex, capable of both separation and smelting at a commercial scale. This deal has strategic implications for the North American supply chain, as the U.S. sourcing laws become stricter, and REAlloys holds a supply position that defense and advanced manufacturing buyers will depend on. The upgraded SRC facility, with REAlloys as its primary partner, will be the only operation ready to meet the U.S. Department of Defenses requirement for heavy rare earth metals at a commercial scale beginning January 1, 2027.The Daily News Now! — Every city.
