Foxconn and Luxshare to Boost Gaming Device Production in VietnamTwo major electronics manufacturers, Foxconn and Luxshare, are planning to significantly increase their production of gaming devices in Vietnam, adding millions of new consoles to the countrys annual output. Foxconn, through its subsidiary Fushan Technology, aims to produce up to 4.8 million Microsoft Xbox consoles and related parts each year. Luxshare-ICT plans to manufacture up to 4.5 million game consoles annually, starting next year. This expansion reflects a broader strategy by these companies to expand their overall manufacturing capabilities in the region, as Vietnam continues to assemble a wide range of electronic products for international markets. Foxconn also plans to increase its mobile phone manufacturing capacity by 30 million units and produce charging devices for smart wearable technology.
