First, we speak with Indy investigative reporter Ted Hamm about Muhammad Aziz, who was falsely convicted in Malcolm X’s 1965 murder and exonerated in 2021. His recent $40 million lawsuit names 19 FBI officials involved in the incident, investigation and cover-up, including former FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. Then we speak with radical theater creator Ash Marinaccio about worldwide performances yesterday, including here in New York, of the Gaza Monologues, a non-fiction play that brings to life the voices of the children of Gaza. The play was created by the Palestinian-led Ashtar Theater which led the effort to stage it around the globe.
