President Trump updates the nation on progress being made to contain and mitigate the virus, including progress in testing of cases, economic relief, vaccine development, small business protections, statistics of new cases and projections based on the latest date. In a somewhat reserved but optimistic tone, Trump also mentions his call with former Vice President Biden and sends well-wishes to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who just recently was admitted to Intensive Care suffering from COVID-19.
