Ian and Mike go to check on the community garden and see how things have grown since they have been there last. Narrator: Female Story Begins: 3:46 Growing Garden Excerpt: Mr. Johnson, Mike, and Ian gathered their gardening supplies. Mr. Johnson also grabbed a bag with some sunscreen and water bottles. The three of them headed down the sidewalk towards the park.  Along the way, the boys discussed what they might see when they reached the community garden. In the distance the boys spotted a large area filled with lush green plants. Their garden looked fantastic! They stopped to take it all in. Mike looked at Ian.  Ian looked at Mike. Then they both looked at Mr. Johnson, who nodded with a smile. “Race you!” yelled Mike.
